We are available for site tours by appointment only.
You can choose whether you wish to come up for the morning (the only option during rainy season — between September and March), the afternoon, or all day.
Most tours are mainly held at the homestead, Sierra y Cielo, but we can go to the Refugio, also known as Seed Camp, instead, or visit both during a full day tour.
A general tour will discuss the history of land use in the region, a history of Sacred Sueños, and living examples of Permaculture, and Regenerative Design. You can request a focus on one or more topics that may be of particular interest to you and your group.
- Soil building
- Agro-ecology with a serious focus on ecological principles
- Natural building and regenerative architecture
- Holistic animal stewardship within a regenerative agenda, in general, or focusing on horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and/or bees.
- Medicinal plants and building a healing farm-acy.
A half day tour lasts two to three hours from your arrival on site and costs $30 for a group of 1 to 10 people.
A full day tour lasts up to six hours, and costs $50.
We can arrange for a guide to lead you to the farm (a short taxi from town, then a 1.5 to 2 hour hike up the mountain), as well as horse rentals for those who’d like to ride up.
We also offer snacks ($5/person) or lunch ($10/person), if requested (only possible with at least 5 days advance notice of tour.)
Please contact us via email, WhatsApp, or Telegram (095-898-6983) to schedule a tour. Our availability varies and a week or more of advanced notice is preferred.
